It’s that time of year again! Every year I decorate a bit different from the year before. This year we did a real tree because our fake one died. I love the genuine feeling of a real tree and the one we got is not too big. The trunk is a bit skinny though and we had a hard time keeping it up in the stand but in the end we got it!
Our gnome’s name is Rupert. I rescued him from dollar tree and he is quality! He says Merry Christmas!
I wanted to convey the feel of Christmas growing up in 90s. I feel as though I have achieved my goal. I got this Christmas town on Poshmark and we had one when I was young and I loved it! I am pretty sure this is the same model we had.
Doesn’t the new traditional clock go well with the Christmas vibe! It makes me so happy! And, that wooden thing that I don’t know the name of that goes with that other wooden thing! Lol! If you know you know if not check out my Youtube Channel.
I got us a Lego Train last year and we put it together this year! Thennnn we got the Harry Potter car and I am in love! Ryan added smoke/steam with a wire and fake snow! This is our new thing! It is a Lego year for sure! We are getting more.
Every year I add more lights and this year I added the solar lights for our palm trees and our wreath of course. These were so easy. I am so glad I got them. We have had the bush lights a couple years and add so much light while walking the dogs.

Getting our tree was so much fun! We got ours at Lowe’s and there were not many people there and great service! Picking a tree is an amazing added experience to the season!
