My Updated Skincare

I have been keeping my skincare very basic recently, I don’t use all of these products everyday but regularly. I go some days not using anything at all to let my skin breath once a week. Keeping my skin clean is a priority for me as I have had adult acne on and off through-out the years. Below are my current go to products. I have gotten these items either on subscription like with Proactiv, or in a boxy charm prior, Walgreens or Amazon. I have linked these products below on the titles for each item, to find them easy on Amazon. I do not include a vitamin C serum but I do also recommend a vitamin C serum for the AM.

Good skin starts from within, keeping healthy habits also keeps your skin healthy, drink water and include lemon in your diet. My ‘go to’ is a nice lemon tea. Keep it simple sweetie, skincare should not be that difficult. There are so many products out there, I recommend to check what is it in your products so they align with you values. There are chemicals in these products but this is what works for me.

Proactiv – I use the basic set from Proactiv. I only use this once a week now as my acne has cleared up but I still use them weekly to keep up maintenance for my acne. I love useing Proactiv and I have used it on and off for a decade but when I didn’t use this regime I had a lot of breakouts. I highly recommend this if you have moderate acne and need just something that works.

TULA Eye Balm – I love this product and use it everyday. I use this in the mornings under my eyes and helps me feel awake. I like that it targets the under eye with an easy one swipe and moisturizes daily to keep up on wrinkle reduction and brightening dark circles.

CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizer – I like CeraVe because it is a lightweight everyday moisturizer. I only put this on in the mornings under my foundation. I love that it is non harsh and is good for sensitive skin. My dermatologist suggested either CeraVe or Neutrogena and I usually have one or the other, find what works for you as we all have different types of skin. I usually get dry in winter and use CeraVe and Neutrogena in summer as it is lighter feeling, I feel at least.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen – I live in Florida and SPF is a must, this lightweight Neutrogena Sunscreen is my go to! I have a mini version, I linked the larger version I will be purchasing as this is a definite must.

Biore Rose Quartz + Charcoal Cleansing Scrub – I love using this scrub cleanser in the shower because it gives a good cleanse and a menthol cool feel after a good workout, to wipe the day away. I have been using this daily and I feel a difference with the clarity of my pores. This is a re-purchase for sure.

Neutrogena Makeup Wipes – Holy Grail item, as it is most people’s favorite wipes. I have tried many wipes and these are the softest most durable. When I used other wipes I missed these and they are just quality! I will have to get more at Target later, click the blue title link and see on Amazon to purchase.

Algenist Triple Algae Eye Renewal Balm – I use this eye cream at night on my under eyes as preventative care and it makes my eyes feel very hydrated. This little pot has lasted me a long time and I will definitely repurchase this item. This product protects against wrinkles and aging. I can’t say I have seen results but I hope by using this now I won’t see as much future aging.

Cetaphil Radiance Renewing Cream – In Florida, it is often, people get dark spots from the sun. I use this product at night to help reduce the dark spot buildup and I would say it does its job. I like this lightweight cream and is a good way to keep your skin healthy and glowing with this harsh Florida sun. Paired with the sunscreen these are the best Florida combo!

L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Night Cream – I use this night cream with the Cetaphil cream and this is a great combo as they are very different type of creams. Sometimes I switch on and off with these two depending on how I feel. I love this one and it is a good winter, thicker cream that definitely lives up to its reputation.

Thank you all! I hope you have an amazing weekend!

xx Ciao
