This is another post from the trip I took with my mom to England in 2019. I love reminiscing my trips and these creative travel posts are so much fun for me to create. I hope you all enjoy these little snippets of my travels. Today we are diving into the little harbor town of Falmouth. This was such a beautiful harbor town full of history and with the most amazing views I have ever seen in my life along with one of the best Bed & Breakfasts I have ever stayed in.
The Fish & Chips shop you can see below was a hopping place and we decided to get dessert here and people watch. There was a back area behind the shops and our table overlooked this very social spot. I got some tea and we shared an ice cream. We stayed in Falmouth while we visited other areas of Cornwall and was a good hub for part of our stay.
This Italian dinner we had was at a chain restaurant and even though it wasn’t the best food we had in Falmouth it was a nice outdoor experience for the most part. We had some good food at a place right across from the Italian food the next night as you can see in the video below with the mussels. Falmouth has amazing views and as you can see there is a harbor on the other side of the town that has views of the castle. The main panorama picture at the top of this post is the best view I have see anywhere in my life! I literally wanted to stay there forever. My mom had to pull me away from this harbor, it was just so magical and one of my most treasured moments in my life!
We stayed at a B&B called The Red House and it was one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. The couple that owns this B&B were amazing and very helpful, one of them was a chef and the breakfast was 10/10. I dream about the bathroom we had and I should have gotten a photo of it but I thought maybe that would be weird, all I can say it was very calming for me. Thank you to the owners as it has been a while since we have stayed there but it was the most memorable experience in any B&B I have ever stayed in!
