Porthcurno is a beautiful coral beach tucked away in a cove in Cornwall England and is one of my favorite panoramic views in the whole country. The view is spectacular and breath-taking. Minack Theater hosts plays during sunset and would be an amazing experience I am sure; unfortunately I was there during the morning so I was unable to see a performance but they do have tiered layers of grassy benches woven in the intricate botanical gardens.
Minack Theater
When watching the people in the water of Porthcurno it reminded me of a James Bond film. The water looks so fresh with its teal blue color and coral colored sand and is a little piece of the Mediterranean in the south of England. If you live in England and need a staycation Prothcurno is a definite must.
Getting up to the Theater was an adventure, with a small vertical road just big enough for one car with two lanes of traffic, making it our first obstacle to getting to the most beautiful view in England. We tried a couple times to venture up the steep incline but had to back down to let others pass, backing up a couple times and finally, we almost backed into a wall and down a steep cliff. I was ready to escape the death-ride and almost climbed over the driver to get out. We made it to the top and we were all contemplating if this trip would be our last, but I must say that the trek was worth the risk for sure!
Thank you all for letting me share my travel memories with you.
I do have a lot of posts coming up about Italy so stay tuned!
