Lulworth – England UK

Lulworth was one of our first stops on my trip with my mom to England in 2019. This small cove takes your breath away. I was surprised at how tropical Southern England felt and this was our first coastal stop along our way through Cornwall. There were people swimming and boating keeping the port very active on this beautiful sunny English day.

Before you get to the cove of Lulworth you walk along a small stream along the roadside and we were able to enjoy the ducks and ducklings. It is a little hard to see the ducklings in the pictures but there are small gray ducklings if you look hard enough. They were so cute and definitely distracted me for a while. This small town was very accommodating to tourists. I would pack a lunch and have a picnic if we hadn’t already eaten lunch earlier in another town.

As you can see above that there is a good grassy hill for a good picnic. If you were planning on hiking along the paths this would be a good spot for your picnic lunch afterwards. At the top of this hill were the start of the hiking trails. This view for the trails were amazing! It was a little windy this day but sunny and a perfectly clear day to enjoy the view of the Ocean as you can see below.

There were a lot of people hiking these trails but we only went a small way along the path to take photos. We did not have enough time to take a hike as we were on a tour and had limited time. We did get a snack and look around the shop that was there for tourists. I saw a dog that was so cute and I had to take a picture of him.

I fell in love with England’s coast at Lulworth. The scenic views in this country along the coast are just mesmerizing and this is where it all started. If you have not been to England I suggest to at least go to one coastal town and you will be amazed! There are so many amazing locations in England and it is hard to compare them all, but each location is special in it’s self and should be viewed as a unique spot, as I feel there are no towns alike. Each town is packed full of history, culture, art, vistas, and so much more, you just have to go find it.

Thank you all for taking this journey through my memories of England when I went back in 2019. I hope you are enjoying this series. I have many more to go and will be sad when I am done with this one. I do have other trips to also post so don’t get scared it will all just end.

Happy Friday! Have a great weekend! See you next week!
